As a personal injury trial lawyer I work on a contingency fee basis and what that means is that we do not recover unless we make a recovery for our clients and then and only then do we get paid a percentage and typically depending upon the case that percentage can be anywhere from thirty-three and a third to forty percent. Likewise, we advance all costs associated with a case so that our clients aren't out of pocket, typically, on any advanced tossed and if we don't recover or if we go to trial and we should lose for some reason we eat that. We never looked to our clients to reimburse us unless for some reason we enter into a different type of relationship. But ninety-nine point nine percent of all our cases are handled on a contingency fee basis and that's how people can do it.  Even if we don't take your case we're always willing to sit down and talk to you about your case for free. I don't believe a lot of times we've been able to help people by just sitting down and telling them. sometimes you don't need an attorney here's what you need to do and we don't charge for that if that's the case and if we don't take your case we don't we don't charge for the conference and we just want to be sure that people are informed and ask and have their questions answered to the extent that we can provide that service.
